Social Media Assistant Job Overview:

Chemical Guys is a leading manufacturer of car care products, and we're currently seeking a talented Social Media Assistant to join our team. The Social Media Assistant will play a pivotal role in creating engaging content for our social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This content will support evergreen initiatives, product launches, campaigns, and more. This is an exciting, fast-paced, high-intensity position that contributes significantly to the storytelling of the Chemical Guys brand. The role involves brainstorming and executing creative ideas while collaborating closely with the marketing and media team. As the voice of our brand online, this position plays a crucial role in shaping the perception of our company through direct community engagement, such as comments and direct messages. Additionally, the Social Media Assistant will support the broader social media team in building our social media audience and increasing viewership and engagement across all our channels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Ideate and facilitate production and post-production of short-form video deliverables (with a primary focus on Instagram Reels and TikTok) Respond to all non-customer-service related comments and direct messages across all channels Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop innovative content concepts for social accounts Support Social Media team in publishing and administrative tasks, as needed Develop and execute creative ideas for social media content that aligns with our brand and engages our target audience on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Collaborate with the marketing/media team to ensure social media content is aligned with overall marketing objectives Produce social content ideas that are original, relatable, fun, and informational Schedule and publish content on social media channels with adherence to content calendars Work with team leaders to monitor social media analytics to track the performance of content and identify areas for improvement Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media content creation On-Camera Presence for

Engaging Content:

Shine as an on-camera personality, contributing to captivating video content for tutorials, demos, and informative videos for videos on YouTube and social media channels Collaborate with videographers and editors to assist in the production of video content. Develop and enhance on-camera skills to ensure effective content delivery and engagement.

Qualifications:

2+ years of social media experience Demonstrated ability to create compelling content for social media platforms, specifically TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Demonstrates strong ability for iPhone filming and editing Attention to detail, responsible, and reliable Proficiency in project management and social tools a plus (ex. Asana) Passion for the automotive industry and creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience Creative and innovative personality that is always thinking outside the box An eye for content that will drive community engagement A successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
