The center was established in 2002 and offers personalized therapeutic attention. We are dedicated to providing a friendly private center and program that gives each individual choices on maintaining personal optimum health. With knowledge of healing methods from around the world, our holistic approach draws from traditional and conventional medicine. However you look to achieve balance, it starts with a conversation and compassionate touch. The Role Our Front Desk Receptionist manages appointments, helps clients with booking and billing, and keeps the front desk running smoothly. You are the first person clients see when they walk in, and the last person they see on the way out. Think medical office receptionist or patient coordinator, in a calm wellness setting. We are looking for someone warm, organized, and genuinely interested in health and wellness. This role is a strong fit for business and nursing students. If you are studying business administration, marketing, management, or entrepreneurship, you will get hands on experience with client relations, customer retention, scheduling systems, point of sale and payment processing, invoicing, light bookkeeping, inventory, and social media marketing that actually drives revenue. It is real small business operations experience, not busy work. If you are in nursing, pre nursing, public health, health sciences, kinesiology, or a pre med track, you will spend your shifts in a client facing healthcare environment. You will learn intake and scheduling, client confidentiality and privacy practices, professional bedside manner, handling sensitive conversations, and how a wellness and therapeutic massage practice runs day to day. It is meaningful patient facing communication experience that strengthens nursing school and clinical program applications. Please note this is an administrative role and does not count toward clinical hours. What You'll Do Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and courteously Greet clients and answer questions about our services and massage packages Schedule appointments using our Square booking system Process payments for services and packages using the Square payment terminal Coordinate with massage therapists and staff on daily scheduling and flow Maintain accurate client records, appointment history, and billing history Protect client privacy and handle personal health information with discretion Work closely with the CEO on social media content that converts to sales Help with filing, data entry, and inventory management Handle client questions and resolve concerns quickly Follow company policies so every client leaves happy What You'll Need Currently enrolled in or have completed an associate, bachelor, or master degree program. Students are preferred. Some experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, front office, or an administrative role Comfortable learning the Square booking system or similar scheduling and practice management software A friendly and compassionate presence Organized, responsible, detailed, and quick on your feet Able to solve problems independently and stay calm under pressure Strong time management, professionalism, and communication skills Comfortable with G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs) and Canva Willing to learn, take feedback, and apply it right away Health conscious and genuinely interested in holistic wellness A positive attitude and interest in growing with us Why People Like Working Here We build the schedule around your class schedule Small team, so your work matters from day one Resume and reference building experience for business, healthcare, and wellness careers Real exposure to healthcare administration, client care, and small business marketing Paid part time work close to campus in Fairfield County A calm and welcoming place to work, not a loud corporate office Mentorship directly from the owner Other Notes Schedule is flexible and built around your semester Availability required on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with optional Saturdays Commute should be under 20 minutes. Convenient for students in Southport, Fairfield, Westport, Bridgeport, and Norwalk. One part time position is open Great fit for undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates We value diversity at our company, and we are an equal opportunity employer.
