Canva/Social Media, Phone etiquette/customer service. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Membership Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as the staff liaison to our committee, focusing on member outreach and engagement, event planning, and executing strategies to increase brand awareness. This position is integral in prospecting new members and retaining current ones, managing yearly dues invoicing, and maintaining member contact information. You will also create content for social media platforms, develop strategies to boost engagement, and support various administrative tasks. Responsibilities Act as staff liaison to the committee and carry out assigned tasks. Conduct member outreach and engagement, including check-ins and promoting event attendance. Research and update member benefits regularly. Plan and execute events, including attendance and coordination. Prospect new members and retain current ones. Invoice, process, and follow up on yearly dues. Maintain and update contact information as needed. Create and manage content for social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn. Develop strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic. Perform miscellaneous duties as they arise. Essential Skills Proficiency in event coordination and planning. Strong skills in social media management, including platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn. Ability to create graphics and content using Canva. Excellent phone and email etiquette, with the ability to engage with members confidently. Customer service experience. Data entry and administrative support skills. Digital marketing expertise. Work Environment This position is based in a quiet office environment, working five days a week with flexible hours, either from 8 am to 4 pm or the traditional 9 am to 5 pm schedule. You will have your own office space, contributing to a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The organization is a non-profit established in 1968, dedicated to supporting the health of skilled labor in Connecticut. It works with state legislation and runs its own apprenticeship program. Multiple events are held throughout the year, including a golf fundraiser, providing opportunities to build long-lasting relationships in the electrical construction field. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky hill, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $47.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
