Job Description
Looking for a creative, reliable, and social-media-loving person to help create fun video content and support local brand growth for a growing jewelry and lifestyle brand with a positive mission. This is a great fit for someone who already loves creating social media content personally and wants to turn that creativity into real-world experience, portfolio pieces, and hands-on brand-building skills. This is a student-friendly, flexible role, but applicants of all ages are welcome. This role focuses more on filming, content creation, trends, market content, and real-life brand moments than advanced editing. You will help capture content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts, especially around jewelry, fashion, markets, dancing, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes moments. You will work alongside a young woman entrepreneur with an intellectual disability who is building a joyful jewelry brand focused on beauty, confidence, kindness, and inclusion. What You Will DoSocial Media Video Creation Help film short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Capture fun behind-the-scenes content at markets, outings, and content days. Help create videos using trends, music, lip-syncs, simple transitions, hooks, and relatable social media formats. Film jewelry, outfits, dancing, walking, exercising, market setup, customer moments, packaging, and day-in-the-life content. Brainstorm creative content ideas, captions, hooks, and trending concepts. Assist with light editing in TikTok, Instagram, CapCut, or Canva when needed. Help organize photo and video clips so they can be used for future posts. Collaborations & Local Brand Growth Research local creators, influencers, boutiques, photographers, student groups, dancers, market vendors, and community partners who may be a good fit for the brand. Help draft simple Instagram DMs or emails for collaboration opportunities. Assist with coordinating content meetups, product-gifting opportunities, market-based collaborations, or simple cross-promotions. Help track outreach, responses, and possible partnership ideas. Look for creative ways to connect the brand with local events, markets, community pages, and aligned organizations. Markets & Brand Events Attend local markets, pop-ups, and occasional content outings. Help with booth setup, display, and takedown. Capture video and photos of the booth, products, customers, and behind-the-scenes moments. Help create a fun, welcoming, upbeat brand experience. Assist with basic customer engagement and brand storytelling. Creative Brand Support Watch for trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. Suggest fun video ideas that fit the brand style and mission. Help plan weekly short-form video ideas, simple shot lists, trends, and content themes. Help make the brand feel fresh, joyful, stylish, and relatable. Support content that helps grow followers, build awareness, increase local visibility, and drive jewelry sales. What We Are Looking For Someone who enjoys social media and understands what makes videos fun to watch. Creative, upbeat, dependable, and comfortable filming content. Interest in fashion, jewelry, lifestyle, dancing, music, markets, small business, or entrepreneurship. Comfortable filming content and occasionally appearing on camera is a plus, but not required. Willing to attend local markets and events in the Tampa Bay area. Able to take initiative, suggest ideas, and help make content more fun and engaging. Basic experience with TikTok, Instagram, Canva, CapCut, or phone video creation is helpful. Reliable transportation required. Available 10-15 flexible hours per week during the summer (over 3-4 days) Flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends for markets and events. Why This Role Is Different This is not a boring summer job or a traditional retail position. You will help build a real jewelry and lifestyle brand, create fun social media content, attend local markets, and gain hands-on experience in branding, entrepreneurship, inclusion, digital marketing, and local collaboration building. Most of the role is about capturing great moments, helping create video ideas, supporting simple collaborations, and bringing the brand to life. Advanced editing experience is not required. This is a summer opportunity with the possibility of continuing during the school year for the right person.
