About the Academy of Advanced Cosmetics (AAC) The Academy of Advanced Cosmetics (AAC) is a leading training academy specializing in permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing. We train future artists from all over the country in brows, lips, eyeliner, paramedical tattooing, and more. Our environment is fast-paced, creative, and education-focused. We are seeking a Permanent Makeup Studio Intern (Tuition Credit Position) who is excited to learn the studio + academy business from the inside while earning tuition credit toward an AAC training program. Position Overview The Permanent Makeup Studio Intern supports day-to-day operations inside our academy and studio. This role is ideal for someone who wants real exposure to the permanent makeup industry—client experience, studio operations, marketing, and training support.

This allows you to learn, train, and earn income as you build confidence in your new career—while still receiving an inside look at how a high-performing PMU studio and training academy operates.

Important:

This is a non-paid internship in the traditional sense. Instead of hourly pay, you will earn $20/hour in tuition credit toward a pre-approved AAC course (example: Elite Eyebrow course). If you begin taking clients at AAC, that portion may be compensated separately based on service structure and readiness. Key Responsibilities You'll help keep the studio and academy running smoothly with tasks such as: Client & Student Communication Answer incoming calls and return voicemails Respond to basic email and text inquiries Provide friendly, professional info about AAC services and courses Scheduling & Front Desk Support Book and confirm client appointments and student classes Check clients and models in for appointments Help organize daily schedules for artists and instructors Social Media & Content Support Assist with behind-the-scenes content (photos/videos for Reels, Stories, etc.) Help draft captions, post updates, and engage with comments/DMs Brainstorm creative content ideas aligned with AAC's brand Studio Operations & Admin Help with inventory (supplies, kits, retail items) Prep training rooms and treatment areas before classes/clients Assist with light admin (spreadsheets, simple reports, organizing forms) General tidying of shared areas (front desk, lobby, training room) What You'll Learn How a professional PMU + paramedical training academy operates day-to-day How appointments, models, and classes are scheduled and managed How social media + marketing support a beauty training business Real-world customer service and client communication Behind-the-scenes training insight that supports your success when you enroll

For high-performing interns, there may be an opportunity to begin hands-on, supervised client work at AAC (when appropriate), giving you real experience AND income potential inside the studio environment. Schedule 2-3 days per week , Monday-Friday Typical hours: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (some flexibility based on schedule) In-person at our AAC location in Roswell, GA 30076 Requirements Strong people skills + professional phone presence Comfortable using a computer (email, basic spreadsheets, social media platforms) Reliable, punctual, and able to follow through on tasks Access to reliable transportation (car preferred) Preferably lives within a reasonable distance (traffic considered) Genuine interest in permanent makeup and willingness to learn Comfortable with a tuition-credit internship structure Compensation & Growth Path This is a tuition-credit internship (not hourly pay). Earn $20 in tuition credit for every hour worked Credit applies toward a pre-approved AAC course (example: Elite Eyebrow course valued at $3,750) Once enough credit is earned, you can enroll (based on class availability) Additional Earning Opportunity Depending on performance, professionalism, and readiness, interns may be eligible to take clients at AAC (in-facility), creating an opportunity to earn income while building experience . Future Opportunity After successfully completing your AAC training, you may be considered for an Elite Artist position at AAC based on performance and business needs.
