502551 Savannah, Georgia, United States Marketing and Public Relations Comm. and Creative Full-time Staff As an enthusiastic member of the marketing and public relations team, you'll connect with student influencers, collaborate with student clubs, and create engaging content that resonates with SCAD's vibrant community. Working closely with the social media team, student groups, and internal departments, you'll play a crucial role in expanding the university's digital footprint and fostering a dynamic online community. In support of the university's vision to be globally recognized as the preeminent source of knowledge in the disciplines we teach, you will: Develop and implement creative content strategies for TikTok that align with SCAD's brand voice and objectives, ensuring posts are on-brand and high quality Brainstorm ideas and scripts; film, edit, and optimize content to maximize reach and engagement; and produce engaging TikTok videos Consistently collaborate with the social media team to schedule and publish content Track and analyze content performance, using insights to refine strategies and improve engagement Identify, recruit, and collaborate with student influencers to produce authentic, impactful content that showcases the SCAD experience As part of the marketing and public relations team, you'll: Build and maintain relationships with student clubs and organizations to showcase their activities and achievements on social media platforms Work collaboratively to develop initiatives that enhance student involvement and interactions on social media Provide light administrative support to the SCAD social media team (e.g., scheduling meetings, managing content calendars, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining organized records of social media activities and performance metrics) Participate in additional social media efforts for the university and museum accounts Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing Candidates should ideally demonstrate: A creative mindset and a passion for storytelling and content creation A strong understanding of TikTok trends, video editing, and platform algorithms An ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to various audiences Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field Proven experience managing and creating content for TikTok and Pinterest Experience working with student influencers and engaging student communities Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools Willing to travel domestically and internationally on short notice and for extended periods Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license Travel required: 20-40% Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
