Part-Time / Contractor Suwanee, GA + Greater Atlanta Area About the Role GK Marketing & SEO is looking for a creative, reliable, and social-media-savvy Social Media Content Assistant to support content creation for local business clients throughout the Greater Atlanta area. This is an on-site content creation role . You will be required to travel to client locations on scheduled content days to capture photos and short-form video using an iPhone or similar device. After each content shoot, you will be responsible for organizing and uploading all photos and video clips to the designated shared album so they are immediately accessible for editing and content creation. Initially, the role will primarily focus on capturing high-quality content based on creative direction and shot lists provided by GK Marketing & SEO. Over time, the position can grow into editing Reels and short-form videos, developing content ideas, and assisting with additional social media execution. Primary Responsibilities Travel to client locations throughout Suwanee and the Greater Atlanta area for scheduled content shoots Capture vertical video specifically for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and other short-form platforms Take high-quality photos of businesses, products, services, team members, customers, and behind-the-scenes moments Follow provided content briefs, shot lists, and creative direction Identify additional content opportunities while on location Capture a variety of angles, close-ups, wide shots, detail shots, transitions, and supporting B-roll Ensure footage is well-lit, in focus, and usable for social media Professionally interact with clients and their employees while representing GK Marketing & SEO Organize and upload all photos and raw video footage to a shared album following each content shoot Ensure content is uploaded promptly and clearly organized so it can easily be accessed for editing Communicate with Grace before and after shoots regarding content needs and completion As the role develops, responsibilities may expand to include editing Instagram Reels and TikToks, adding text overlays/audio/transitions, organizing client content libraries, researching trends, brainstorming content ideas, repurposing content across platforms, and preparing finished content for approval. Requirements Applicants must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling to client locations for content shoots . This is not a fully remote position. You should also be comfortable filming with an iPhone or similar device, have a good eye for lighting and composition, understand vertical social content, be highly reliable for scheduled shoots, communicate professionally, and be comfortable uploading and organizing large quantities of photo and video content in shared albums. Experience with CapCut, Canva, Instagram Reels, TikTok, or other editing platforms is preferred, but I'm also open to someone with strong creative instincts who is eager to learn. Most importantly, I'm looking for someone I can eventually trust to independently arrive at a client location, capture everything needed for that client's social media content, and upload a well-organized library of usable footage without requiring me to attend every shoot.
