Job Description

Copper River Data Solutions is seeking a creative and strategic Social and Digital Media Specialist to support digital communications and online engagement initiatives at Pearl Harbor, HI . The Social and Digital Media Specialist will develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies, create engaging multimedia content, manage social media platforms, monitor audience engagement, analyze performance metrics, and ensure all digital communications comply with applicable Navy and Department of Defense policies and guidelines. This position will support the development of consistent, accurate, and engaging communications across digital platforms while helping strengthen the organization's online presence and relationships with internal and external audiences. The successful candidate will combine strong communication and content creation skills with the ability to analyze digital performance data and adapt strategies to evolving communication trends. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Create engaging multimedia content, including videos, graphics, articles, and infographics. Manage and maintain social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. Develop and publish accurate, timely, and relevant content across digital communication channels. Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments, inquiries, and other forms of audience interaction. Develop engagement strategies, including contests, polls, live sessions, and community-driven initiatives. Monitor and analyze social media metrics, audience behavior, and campaign performance. Prepare reports and data-driven assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of digital communication strategies. Use analytics and performance data to refine content, engagement strategies, and platform management. Ensure digital communications comply with Navy directives, DoD policies, security protocols, and confidentiality requirements. Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to maintain consistent branding, messaging, and tone across digital platforms. Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in digital communications to support continuous improvement.
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Security Clearance Active NACI clearance required
Demonstrated Knowledge & Experience:
Digital media strategy development and implementation Social media platform management and audience engagement Multimedia content development, including video, graphics, articles, and infographics Social media analytics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance reporting Digital communication trends and emerging technologies Content quality control and editorial review Branding and messaging consistency across multiple communication channels Navy messaging guidelines and Department of Defense digital communication requirements Security protocols and confidentiality standards applicable to Government communications

A passport or a Real ID compliant state driver's license
