Carmel, IN Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Data collection Full Job Description The Social Media Specialist supports the Social Media Manager(s) in the day-to-day execution of organic social strategy across Heartland Food Products Group brands. This is a hands-on, entry-to-mid level role focused on content scheduling, community engagement, social listening, and reporting support, with room to grow into greater ownership of strategy and campaigns over time. This role is located at our Carmel, Indiana corporate office. The role is 100% in office. Key Responsibilities Schedule and publish approved content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and Threads.
Support daily community management:
responding to comments and messages, flagging issues, and escalating as needed. Monitor social trends and conduct ongoing social listening; surface relevant trends and conversations to the Social Media Manager(s) and marketing peers. Assist with copywriting and caption drafting for organic content. Support creative asset organization, reviews, and tagging for use across brands. Help coordinate creator and Brand Ambassador program logistics (outreach, gifting tracking, content collection). Pull and organize weekly/monthly analytics data to support reporting. Assist with campaign planning logistics, content calendars, and asset tracking. Support real-time or event-based social coverage as needed (e.g., sponsorship activations). Respond to internal content and asset requests from brand and cross-functional teams. Maintain organized documentation of workflows, brand guidelines, and reporting templates to support cross-brand consistency. Qualifications 0-2 years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications (internship experience welcome). Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, Familiarity with major social platforms and native scheduling/analytics tools. Strong writing skills and attention to detail. Comfortable juggling multiple brands and tasks with good organizational habits. Interest in growing into a social media strategy or management role.
