Job Description

Description:
Provide support to the CCO including: greeting students and visitors to the office, answering questions regarding services and resources, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and directing calls, responding to CCO emails, entering opportunities and data into Handshake, distributing posters and flyers around campus, collecting and distributing mail to the CCO staff, typing documents, photocopying, and running campus errands, as needed. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with programs and events, creating new resources, conducting research on employers, gathering data and information to be used for materials, posting to CCO social media outlets (Facebook and Instagram), and designing flyers and other marketing materials.
Qualifications:
Interested students must be able to demonstrate the ability to be dependable, take initiative, work quickly to accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment, exhibit a professional demeanor. Must be able to provide excellent service to people of diverse backgrounds and roles at the College including students, alumnae, faculty, staff, administrators, employers, and community partners. Strong attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and writing skills are a must. Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Publisher), Canva, social media management, and data entry is strongly preferred.
Preferred Schedule:
Between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday (occasional evening or weekend hours as needed, depending on programs and events)
