Job Description:
This position allows the candidate to learn all aspects of athletic sports information and network broadcast, encompassing game day operations, ESPN+ broadcasting, statistical record keeping, social media, marketing, and brand promotions.
  • Shoot, edit and post behind-the-scenes social media video for sports.
  • Live clip athletic events for an array of social media platforms.
  • Crew athletic events as part of the sports information game operation or broadcast crew.
  • Prep broadcast trailer computers for upcoming events.
  • Set up and tear down game day equipment.
  • Create promotional graphics for print materials and social media.
  • Interact with social media follower across multiple platforms.
  • Assist with department administration functions as necessary and perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Proficiency in shooting and editing video for social media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro).
  • Strong understanding of visual composition, aesthetics, layout, typography, and branding.
  • Passion for collegiate athletics and a creative mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated communicator who follows direction and functions well in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with current social media trends.
