Marketing Intern (Summer Internship)

M-F Pay:
$20.00 per hour Position Summary CL Construction is seeking a creative and energetic Marketing Intern to support our Marketing Specialist throughout the summer. This role is ideal for someone interested in digital marketing, social media, content creation, photography, videography, and brand development. The Marketing Intern will help showcase our people, projects, culture, and career opportunities through engaging content. Essential Responsibilities Assist with creating and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms Capture photos and videos of construction projects, equipment, employees, and company events Edit videos for recruiting, branding, and marketing campaigns Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content Assist with employee spotlight features, project updates, and company announcements Help maintain and update website content as needed Monitor social media engagement and identify content opportunities Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing and recruiting campaigns Support community outreach, career fairs, and company events Assist with other marketing-related projects as assigned Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok Basic photography and videography skills preferred Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar editing software is a plus Creative mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects What You'll Gain Real-world marketing experience in the construction industry Portfolio-building opportunities through content creation and campaign development Experience with social media strategy and brand management Exposure to recruiting marketing and employer branding initiatives Hands-on experience working with an established marketing professional CL Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
