$67,000 - $77,000 The Department of Children and Families (DCF), Office of Communications and Public Affairs, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the Government Representative 3 - Digital Media Specialist position. This position is located in Trenton. This position may be eligible to work remotely for up to two days in a calendar week.JOB DESCRIPTION
The New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking a self-motivated individual who is highly experienced in Digital Media.This position will:
Assist in photography and videography. Support coordination of photo/video coverage for Commissioner and department events. Serve as a Department liaison for digital media projects. Help to determine, conceptualize, design, develop, and deliver digital media projects, integrating digital multimedia into DCF's Public Affairs messaging. Support production of quality video with attention to lighting, sound, shot composition, camera work, etc., and edit video using digital suite of editing tools (Adobe Premiere, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc...). Utilize technology such as websites, webcasts, blogs, vlogs and podcasts to advance DCF's programs/services. Provide design support and visual advice on the creation of digital media, as well as the purchase of digital media technology. Support live-streaming events in collaboration with Department Communications and Information Technology staff. Regularly monitor and report on department's social media and streaming video metricsREQUIREMENTS EDUCATION
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate's degree or higher in digital communications and/or multimedia studies.RESUME NOTE
