Job Summary:
We're looking for a creative, hands-on Marketing Specialist who wants to see their ideas come to life and drive results. In this role, you'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, VP and the CEO to shape and grow our digital presence through social media, content creation, and video. This role requires both creative execution and strategic thinking—you won't just create content; you'll help guide what gets created and why. You'll be responsible for managing and growing our digital presence, developing engaging content, and supporting marketing initiatives that promote our programs, events, and the personal brand of our CEO. This is a full-time, in-office position (Monday through Friday) within a small, highly collaborative team. Our environment is more hands-on and less structured than a large corporate setting—team members take ownership, wear multiple hats, and stay engaged even during quieter periods between major initiatives. The pace naturally ebbs and flows, so success in this role comes from being self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while staying proactive. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how to turn ideas into content that performs and is motivated by having a direct, visible impact on the business.Description of Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy and Execution- Manage and grow the company's presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and our private Facebook community
- Plan and execute a consistent content strategy aligned with brand goals and campaigns
- Create platform-specific content designed to drive engagement, visibility, and conversions
- Stay current on trends, platform updates, and best practices, and apply them to keep content relevant Content Creation and Copywriting
- Write high-quality captions, posts, and marketing copy that reflect our brand voice and connect with our audience
- Repurpose blogs, webinars, courses, and internal content into engaging social and promotional assets
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging across campaigns and channels Video Production and Editing
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, and website use
- Produce reels, promotional videos, educational clips, and behind-the-scenes content
- Optimize video content for each platform, including formatting, pacing, and captions
- Utilize tools such as CapCut, Canva, and Adobe software as needed Campaign Support and Marketing Execution
- Support the promotion of conferences, online courses, webinars, books, and brand initiatives
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns from concept through launch
- Maintain and manage content calendars to ensure consistency and alignment Community Engagement
- Actively manage and grow our Facebook Group by posting, engaging, and moderating discussions
- Respond to comments and messages across platforms to build relationships and strengthen community Analytics and Performance Optimization
- Track and analyze performance across social media and marketing channels
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and conversions
- Use tools such as Bitly, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Analytics Collaboration and Project Management
- Work closely with leadership, the marketing team, and the Creative Director to execute initiatives
- Use project management tools such as Asana to manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables
- Assist with blog content publishing in WordPress as needed
- Assist in the setup, scheduling, and execution of email campaigns in Keap, including basic list segmentation, formatting, and coordination with broader marketing campaigns
- Assist with other marketing projects and perform related duties as assigned Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong written and communication skills with attention to detail
- Creative thinker who can also execute with speed and consistency
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
- Emotionally intelligent and understands how to communicate with a professional audience
- Experience supporting a personal brand or thought leader is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity and content creation
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in marketing with a strong focus on social media and content creation
- Proven experience creating and editing video content for digital platforms
- Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Canva, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience using analytics tools to measure and improve performance
