Part time position: Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays 9-5pm We are seeking a friendly, organized, and creative Salon Receptionist & Social Media Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role combines front desk client care with behind-the-scenes content creation, helping our salon stand out both in person and online. Responsibilities Manage stylist schedules, client bookings, and appointment changes Respond promptly to client phone calls, text messages, and website inquiries Greet clients warmly and provide an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out Prepare the salon each morning to ensure a fresh, clean, and inviting environment Assist with laundry, including salon towels and capes Support sales of our Milbon retail line, recommending products based on client needs Capture b-roll video, photos, and social media moments to highlight our stylists' work, salon brand, and atmosphere (you'll gather and organize content — our Social Media Coordinator will post) Collaborate with stylists to coordinate content opportunities without disrupting client services Be a proactive, supportive team member, helping wherever needed to keep the salon running smoothly What We're Looking For Previous experience in customer service, salon reception, or administrative support preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Comfort with smartphones, basic photo/video capture; knowledge of social media trends is a plus Be able to multi-task between client care, salon duties, and content creations Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for both client care and creative content Perks & Benefits Flexible schedule 50% off salon products One complimentary hair service per quarter Positive, supportive salon culture Opportunity to combine client service skills with creative content gathering Work-life balance with predictable daytime hours Apply today and be part of a team that creates amazing in-salon experiences!
