$16.00-$17.00 per hour Opportunity to grow into a full-time position Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center is looking for a motivated, outgoing and creative Marketing, Social Media & Outreach Intern to join our growing team. This is a hands-on internship. You won't spend your time making copies or simply watching someone else work. You'll have the opportunity to create real content, shoot and edit videos, participate in marketing campaigns, support healthcare outreach and help our team build relationships with physicians, therapists and other referral sources. For the right person, this internship has the potential to develop into a full-time marketing and outreach position as our company continues to grow. We're looking for someone who wants to learn, take on increasing responsibility and potentially build a career with our organization. What You'll Do Shoot photos and videos at our offices, patient events and community activities Create and edit short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn Help manage our social media accounts, content calendar and posting schedule Create flyers, mailers, brochures and other marketing materials Design graphics and marketing content using Canva or similar tools Assist with email, social media and direct-mail campaigns Help capture patient stories, staff features, educational videos and new prosthetic and orthotic technology Research physicians, physical therapists, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals and other potential referral sources Make professional outreach calls and help schedule meetings for our outreach representative Maintain and organize referral-source and outreach contact lists Help prepare materials for physician visits, sales calls, presentations and community events Identify new social media trends, content ideas and marketing opportunities Assist with other marketing, sales and outreach projects as needed Who We're Looking For This position is ideal for a college student studying marketing, communications, digital media, business, sales or a related field—or a motivated early-career candidate looking to gain hands-on experience and grow into a larger role. You do not need years of professional experience. We're more interested in finding someone who is creative, dependable, outgoing, organized and willing to learn.

Is comfortable communicating with new people by phone and in person Understands Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn Is comfortable shooting photos and videos with a smartphone or camera Has basic video-editing skills or is eager to learn Has experience with Canva or similar design software Can write clear, professional social media captions and marketing copy Is organized and able to manage multiple projects Can work independently after receiving direction Takes initiative and brings new ideas to the team Is comfortable working in a professional healthcare environment Understands the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality Has reliable transportation and is willing to occasionally travel locally for content, events and outreach projects Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Meta Business Suite or similar platforms is a plus, but not required. Today, our team provides prosthetic and orthotic care throughout Northern Ohio, combining personal service, advanced technology and a commitment to helping our patients live active, independent lives. Our approach to marketing is different from traditional healthcare marketing. We tell real patient stories, create educational and behind-the-scenes content, highlight new prosthetic and orthotic technology, participate in community events and build relationships directly with healthcare professionals. As an intern, you won't just observe this process—you'll participate in it. You'll have the opportunity to create, shoot, edit, publish, communicate and see how marketing and outreach directly contribute to the growth of a healthcare organization. As our company continues to expand, a successful intern may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role and take on greater responsibility within our marketing and outreach team. Schedule Part-time with a flexible schedule that can work around college classes. Most work will be based out of our Amherst office, with occasional local travel to our other offices, healthcare facilities, patient events and community activities.
