Job Description
We are looking for a creative and self-directed Social Media Specialist to help strengthen our brand presence in Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic planning with hands-on content creation in a flexible, hybrid environment. You will shape the company's social media direction, develop engaging storytelling around daily operations, and partner with leadership to expand marketing visibility across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's social media presence across relevant platforms and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Produce and publish a steady stream of content each week, including written posts, visuals, and short-form updates tailored to target audiences.
- Visit onsite locations to capture original photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes material featuring staff, vehicles, repair work, equipment, and workplace culture.
- Develop initiatives that elevate market awareness and support broader promotional efforts beyond social media alone.
- Contribute to marketing projects such as branded vehicle graphics, facility presentation, signage, online reputation efforts, and employer brand messaging.
- Track audience interaction, campaign results, and channel performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate a recurring marketing discussion with leadership to review analytics, content plans, reputation metrics, and upcoming priorities.
- Recommend practical tools, workflows, and creative approaches that improve execution and help rebuild the organization's marketing presence.
- 3-7 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging content for multiple social channels and adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Experience developing social media strategies that increase visibility, engagement, and brand recognition.
- Confidence working independently while presenting ideas and performance updates to leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage content calendars, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
- Comfortable capturing onsite content and translating day-to-day business activity into compelling marketing material.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to introduce fresh ideas, establish structure, and build processes from the ground up.
