Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Social Media Intern to join our vibrant marketing team! This paid internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and brand promotion. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in developing engaging content across various platforms, monitor social media trends, and analyze campaign performance to help elevate our online presence. Duties Assist in creating compelling social media content tailored for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Support the scheduling and publishing of posts using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to ensure consistent brand messaging. Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activities across social media channels. Collaborate with the marketing team on developing creative assets using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite. Help track and analyze social media performance metrics using Google Analytics and platform-specific analytics tools to optimize content strategies. Contribute to media editing tasks including video editing and photo editing for multimedia content. Support public relations efforts by engaging with followers and managing online community interactions professionally. Assist in keyword research and SEO practices to improve content visibility across digital platforms. Participate in brainstorming sessions for innovative marketing campaigns focused on social media content marketing and branding initiatives. Monitor digital marketing performance through analytics tools to measure engagement, reach, conversions, and overall campaign success. Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field. Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Experience with social listening tools like Hootsuite or Buffer is a plus. Understanding of SEO principles and keyword research techniques. Strong written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and content writing. Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics or similar tools for marketing analytics insights. Creative mindset with an interest in media editing including video editing and photography. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage audiences professionally online.
