Want to get experience in the sports digital media space? The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, American Hockey League affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are seeking a Digital Media Intern for the 2026-27 season with an eye for creativity and strong attention to detail. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist the Digital Media Manager with creating weekly content such as post-practice question and activity videos, practice content, and other creative projects. Shoot photo and video during team practices, and help with post-practice marketing/digital video shoots Assist in updating and creating social graphics. Archiving game and practice photos and video. On game nights, capture content of the night's activities to be posted across Instagram, Facebook, and X, with opportunities to learn the backend workings of how games are chronicled online. Qualifications Local candidates preferred. Junior or senior in college, pursuing a degree in Video Production, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related fields. Candidates must earn college credit for the internship. An interest in and ability to create compelling stories through photo and video. Able to edit videos and photos utilizing Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. Detail-oriented and strong organization and project management skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
