Full Job Description Job Description:

This position is ideal for a creative, organized individual with strong social media and marketing skills who is excited to contribute to a mission that transforms lives. You'll help share the impact of Rising Star Outreach across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Our media team in India will provide photos, videos, and stories from our programs, and a key part of your role will be turning that footage into engaging social media content. You'll also contribute to creative marketing projects and help develop new strategies to grow our audience and reach new people.

About Us:

Rising Star Outreach empowers individuals and families affected by leprosy in India through quality education, medical care, and community development. Our mission is to help individuals rise above the stigma associated with leprosy and to live healthy, productive lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and create social media content related to stories of people benefiting from our programs in India, leprosy awareness/education, program updates, events, etc.
• Post to our accounts multiple times a week
• Prepare and send out the monthly Rising Star Outreach Newsletter Update
• Analyze social media insights and adjust strategies based on engagement and performance metrics
• Submit media requests to our photographer/videographer in India
• Collaborate with program directors to align messaging across all platforms
• Develop and execute marketing plans to expand Rising Star Outreach's media reach and engagement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience posting for a business to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and or LinkedIn
• Knowledge of how best to incorporate social media trends into content
• Strong editing and content creation skills
• Proficient in Media Writing
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in captions, hashtags, and branding
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting How to
