Position Information Position Title Lab Assistant School of Computing CLC Digital Media Specialist Requisition Number H00128P Position Category Hourly/Work Study Campus Location Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week Months per year Alternate work schedule Pay Grade Salary Hourly Pay Rate $15 - $16 FLSA Job Summary/Basic Function The primary responsibilities of the Digital Media Specialist (DMS) are as follows: Provide customer service and support to students using the Computer Literacy Center(CLC). Responsible for the basic operations of the Computer Literacy Center Administering exams entrusted to the CLC Ensure clean, safe, and efficient operation of center Assist Supervisor or CLC Director as needed You will learn to create Online Learning Modules for the Computer Literacy Center Creating digital projects (Online Learning Modules) as assigned. •This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified. Required Qualifications Must have completed
NTM 1700
(or equivalent) with a grade of "B" or higher. Potential candidates must have good communication and customer service skills through work or volunteer experiences. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite Preferred Qualifications Bilingual/Spanish speaking Work Study preferred.
