We book and promote music and comedy across a ton of markets — Nashville, Orlando, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Austin, Dallas, Tyler, and Savannah and more, working hand-in-hand with agents, managers, venue partners, and co-promoters to put hundreds of shows on stage every year. We're a small, fast-moving team that runs lean and automated. We care about doing right by artists and agents, building real relationships in every market, and operating with the kind of professionalism that makes people want to work with us again. The Role We're hiring a Senior Talent Buyer to own a book of business end-to-end: finding the right artists, making competitive offers, getting shows confirmed, and carrying them through advance and settlement. You'll work directly alongside ownership, manage your own pipeline, and have real influence over what we book and where we grow. This is a role for someone who already understands how a deal comes together with guarantees, deal structures, holds, confirms, settlements — and wants and desires the autonomy to run with it. What You'll Do Source and evaluate artists and comedians, podcasters, across our markets, and identify the right opportunities before competitors do Build and negotiate offers with agents and managers guarantees, splits, and deal terms that work for both sides getting approval from Ownership prior to sending Manage your pipeline from first outreach through hold, confirm, and announce, advance and settlement Advance shows and coordinate settlements with venues, partners, and the internal team Build out events and ticketing, and keep deal and show data accurate across our systems Use data (Prism Insights and historical performance) to anchor guarantees and de-risk offers Maintain and grow relationships with agents, managers, venues, and co-promoters Partner with marketing on ad strategy, on-sales, and ticket pushes Keep CRM, routing, and communication history clean and current so nothing falls through the cracks What We're Looking For Direct experience in talent buying, booking, or a closely related live-events role A working understanding of offers, deal structures, advancing, and settlements Existing relationships with agents and/or managers (a real plus) Strong negotiation instincts and sound judgment on what a show is worth Comfort with event-management and CRM software, and a willingness to live in the tools Organized, self-directed, and reliable — you can run your own pipeline without being managed day-to-day Based in Nashville and able to work in person 2-3 days a week Professional, relationship-first, and easy to work with across artists, agents, and partners Nice to Have Experience across both music and comedy Familiarity with our stack: Opendate, Prism.fm, Attio, Slack, and Google Workspace A network in one or more of our markets (Austin, Dallas, the Florida corridor, Savannah) Marketing or content sensibility — you understand how a show actually sells
