Commission-Based About Entertainment Connect Entertainment Connect is a Houston-based experiential marketing, event production, and talent booking company. We produce large-scale experiential events, corporate activations, and cultural programming for major brands. We are seeking a powerhouse agent who can bridge the gap between creative talent and technical execution. The Role We are seeking a Talent & Creative Agent who is motivated by growth and results. This is a commission-only contract role designed for a high-level "closer" who understands both the art of the deal and the physics of the stage. You will be the primary link between our talent roster and our clients. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives on securing bookings, negotiating high-value contracts, and overseeing the technical production (lighting, sound, and staging) to ensure every activation is a success.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Booking:
Proactively identify and secure booking opportunities. You will lead negotiations from initial outreach to final contract execution, maximizing revenue through strategic talent placement.
Creative Strategy:
Act as a creative consultant for clients, suggesting talent and production elements that elevate their brand experience.
Technical Oversight:
Review and negotiate technical riders. You must understand stage lighting, sound reinforcement, and backline to ensure production matches the talent's needs and the budget.
Tour & Talent Management:
Oversee logistics for talent, including travel, hospitality, and on-site management.
System Management:
Maintain all bookings, contracts, and itineraries using Gigwell , Master Tour , and Pollstar .
On-Site Execution:
Act as a hybrid Production Assistant/Talent Manager during events, ensuring that the "run of show" is executed perfectly and hospitality standards are met. Requirements & Qualifications The "Hybrid"
Background:
Experience in talent booking/agency work plus a background in production assistance or tour management. Software Mastery (Required): High proficiency in Gigwell (booking), Master Tour (itineraries), and Pollstar (market data).
Contract & Negotiation Skills:
Expert-level experience with performance contracts, redlining riders, and closing deals.
Technical Literacy:
Working knowledge of stage lighting, audio signal flow, and event production timelines.
Hospitality Mindset:
A background in high-end hospitality; you understand that "the show" begins the moment the talent arrives.
Location & Travel:
Based in the Houston area with the flexibility to travel and meet in person for strategy and events.
