Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs effectively. Conduct patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop personalized treatment plans. Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout each session. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information. Uphold hygiene standards and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a clean, safe environment for clients and staff. Skills Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients. Proficiency in patient assessment to identify specific needs and customize treatments accordingly. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques. Knowledge of pain management strategies and how they relate to physiology and anatomy. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices. Excellent customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude.
