Our client, based in Vernon Hills, IL, is looking to hire a Master Data Specialist Consultant.

My client is looking for someone to process/handle the business maintenance for the master data. Someone who can work with the business on providing the details, etc that we will need to create/maintain the data. This person will assist in the day to day activities. Must be someone that is more on the business facing side.

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day master data management activities across the global organization via the maintenance of master data in ERP system(s) for core objects such as customers, suppliers and financial reporting objects. Perform mass data changes within the ERP system using available tools
• Provide basic master data backup support for other company locations Be responsible for Master Data Management for suppliers, customers and financial reporting objects.

Advise and collaborate with Corporate Master Data/Change Control leadership to introduce standardization and identify improvements. Participate in validations and testing as needed for projects Perform other duties and tasks as assigned Fixed-term contract of up to one year

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of work experience in Master Data Management and/or ERP production planning
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Mathematics, Industrial Technology, or a related field (required)
• Knowledge of master data for Customers and/or Suppliers in an ERP environment (SAP preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and expert-level Excel skills)
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Experience participating in independent project work
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in English
