Full-time Position Summary:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule for KTECH and TEKU operations to ensure customer demand is met while optimizing production capacity, inventory levels, and material availability. This role coordinates closely with production, planning, purchasing, shipping and customer service to balance demand with manufacturing capabilities and drive on-time delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule for KTECH and TEKU manufacturing operations.
  • Review customer demand, forecasts, open sales orders, and inventory levels to establish production priorities.
  • Balance machine capacity, labor availability, tooling constraints, and material availability to create achievable schedules.
  • Monitor production performance against schedule and adjust plans as needed to address changes in demand, downtime, or supply disruptions.
  • Conduct daily review of production jobs, schedule adherence, and manufacturing priorities.
  • Manage production job review, status tracking, and job close-out once production is complete.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and materials teams to ensure raw materials and packaging are available to support the production schedule.
  • Collaborate with production leadership to resolve capacity constraints and improve schedule execution.
  • Analyze inventory consumption trends and recommend schedule adjustments to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Review open work orders and sales order requirements to align manufacturing output with customer commitments.
  • Maintain accurate planning data, lead times, routings, and scheduling pardameters within ERP systems.
  • Generate and communicate production schedules, shortage reports, and schedule performance metrics with leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement iniatives related to planning accuracy, inventory control, and manufacturing efficiency.
Experience Bachelors degree in Supply chain management or similar discipline preferred. 5 + years of proven experience in automotive manufacturing production scheduling required. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP is essential. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, process improvement methodologies, and supply chain analytics. Mechanical knowledge or background in assembly processes is highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage complex production schedules while balancing quality control and delivery deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the capacity to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively. Prior experience utilizing supply chain management tools to analyze data and implement strategic improvements.
