LifeAtDPCSummary:
The Master Scheduler/ Production Planer oversees the continuity of prepared production schedules to ensure work flow of orders are scheduled properly and flowing through the work processes smoothly to meet customer demands. As the work flow controller of our shop floor, your mission is to turn our order backlog into a smooth, high-velocity workflow. You'll spend your days balancing machine capacity with customer deadlines, ensuring every work center knows exactly what to run next to keep us on track.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure resources are available and scheduled effectively to meet 100% on time delivery metric. Work with Engineering and Maintenance to coordinate alternative scheduling plans in support of PM scheduling, equipment repair and R D requests to align schedules with business goals. Oversee the sequencing of jobs, processes and assignments to individual work centers while providing interface, in partnership with shop floor leadership, between shop floor and leadership. Develop and Maintain the Master Production Schedule. Lead a weekly Production Meeting by value stream. Implement capacity planning by value stream, identify bottlenecks and schedule around planned downtime. Develop contingency plans to minimize production plan impacts. Review forecast to ensure production plan aligns with forecast expectations. Interact with production and supply chain personnel to update and advise of progress and new developments. Track jobs through the production process to ensure completion daily Act as the bridge between Sales (demand), Purchasing (supply), Planners (Schedule), and Production(execution).
Continuous Improvement Responsibilities:
Analyze scheduling systems, refine processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity. Deliver and foster continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility. Collaborate with the Global Operational Excellence team in the development and implementation of global initiatives. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, implement cost-effective initiatives, and develop best practices for planning, scheduling, and material control. Establish, update and implement policies, procedures and related work instructions.
Minimum required qualifications:

Metric driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with
ISO 9000
requirements. Strong MS Excel abilities. Strong ERP and technology skills overall. Strong problem solving, leadership, and communication skills. The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities: The "Puzzle Solver" mindset: You enjoy the challenge of moving pieces around to find the most efficient path forward. Tech savvy: Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel is a must.
Sharp communication:
You can deliver updates clearly to both shop floor operators and upper management.
Detail obsessed:
You notice when an inventory count is off or a due date is unrealistic before it becomes a crisis.
Experience:
