Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling of materials in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips. Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and inventory control. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely material flow. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace accidents.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as needed. Basic computer skills for inventory management systems. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
