Material Handler

Wanted:

Roofing Rockstars (on the Ground!) - Material Handler in Athens, AL Are you a wizard with materials? Do you love getting things where they need to be, precisely when they need to be there? Yellowhammer Roofing is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team of roof-tastic professionals! The Materials team exists to ensure accurate and timely management of roofing materials to and from job sites. The role of the Material Handler is to compare materials list versus delivery for accuracy, and to complete timely pick-ups and drop offs to and from job sites.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete daily pick-up routes and return left over materials to vendors
• Receive daily delivery instructions and plan efficient delivery routes
• Review job site materials for accuracy
• Upload material photographs into the job file
• Complete ongoing training and education related to materials, installs and safety
• Ensure routine maintenance is performed on company vehicle
• Assist coworkers as needed
• Other duties as assigned by the

Assistant Production Manager Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work environment, sometimes in the elements
• This position requires operation of a motor vehicle (must have valid driving license and be insurable)
• This position requires frequent heavy lifting, upwards of 60 pounds

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• At least High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Requires valid driver's license with a proven safe driving record
• This position does utilize a company vehicle , and will require a background and motor vehicle check

From $17.00 per hour

Experience:

fullsize/midsize truck driving and materials delivery: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
