Essential Functions:

Operate personal computer to access e-mail and other basic office support software. Maintain accurate inventory of all parts and supplies. Issue parts and supplies to active Travelers or Purchase Orders. Maintain records and paperwork. Update inventories and reports. Investigate and reconcile problems and potential problems associated with material control. Respool cable when necessary. Coordinate and/or transport reels to and from departments daily. Promote teamwork and continual improvement. Maintain good work habits. This administrative position requires the following physical abilities: Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard. Handling by seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with the hand or hands. Standing for extended periods of time. Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time. Lifting, carrying objects weighing 50 lbs. or less. Pushing, pulling objects weighing 30 lbs. or less. Knowledge that Continental Cable is an ISO/AS certified company and understands the Quality Policy. Maintain a safe work environment at all times and follow all Continental Cable safety policies including safety glasses, work shoes and all required personal protection equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.
