Material Handler

Job Title:

Material Handler Roles and Responsibilities Material Handling:

Work within the warehouse to move, handle, and store materials and parts efficiently.

Inventory Management:

Store materials and parts in assigned locations. Check inventory to ensure all materials and supplies in stock are accurate. Maintain appropriate inventory levels by identifying, labeling, and stocking materials.

Loading and Unloading:

Load and unload inventory from various locations within the warehouse using the correct equipment. Safely lift and relocate heavy pallets, both manually and using machinery, preparing them for transport as necessary.

Equipment Operations:

Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, manual jacks, clamp trucks, dollies, lift trucks, and computerized scales for counting and weighing goods. Understand how to operate overhead doors, trailer restraints, dock plates, banding, and wrapping equipment.

Documentation:

Keep accurate records and documentation of shipped materials. Fill out inventory lists, cross-check shipping invoices, and maintain accurate delivery log records for every order.

Logistics Support:

Receive, confirm, track, store, dispatch, and deliver materials from the warehouse to production facilities, retail stores, and corporate offices.

Additional Duties:

Execute any other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Skills & Qualifications Education:

High School diploma or higher.

Experience:

Prior experience in warehouse operations and materials handling. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification in forklift operation is required).

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.

Pay:

From $19.00 per hour
