Material Handler - Replenishment Job Description The Material Handler - Replenishment supports production by ensuring that all workstations and assembly areas receive the materials, supplies, and tooling they need in a timely and accurate manner. This role focuses on delivering, transporting, and organizing goods, performing basic inventory support activities, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment during the afternoon/evening shift (Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.). Responsibilities Deliver supplies, components, and materials to designated workstations and production areas in a timely manner. Transport, replenish, and replace goods as needed to support continuous production flow. Retrieve tooling and support set-up activities for assembly lines and test stands to ensure readiness for production. Collect and dispose of used materials or supplies according to established procedures. Participate in 7S improvements, waste elimination, and flow improvement activities to enhance efficiency and organization. Update and route KB cards and other basic documentation to maintain accurate material movement records. Use warehouse equipment, including forklifts and related tools, to move and stage materials safely. Perform basic warehouse tasks such as stocking, carrying, and assisting with cycle counts as needed. Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards within the warehouse and manufacturing areas. Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support operational needs. Essential Skills Previous warehouse experience with material handling responsibilities. Basic computer experience to update and route documentation and records. Comfort working overtime as required to meet production demands. Ability to remain on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as carrying and moving materials. Forklift experience and ability to safely operate material handling equipment. Basic familiarity with warehouse operations, including stock handling and cycle counting. Additional Skills & Qualifications RF scanner experience for tracking and managing inventory is preferred. Additional computer experience beyond basic skills is a plus. Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Willingness to participate in continuous improvement and 7S activities. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. The work takes place in warehouse and assembly areas where oils may be present and materials are often packed densely in certain zones. You will work on-site at one of two nearby facilities in Lincolnshire, with the possibility of assignment to either location. The position follows an afternoon/evening shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with overtime as needed. The environment is active and fast-paced, requiring frequent movement, standing, and material handling with equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
