Full-time Summary:

PWR Recruiting is seeking a Receiving/Water Spider/Material Handler to join our client. The Material Handler will be supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for handling incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating forklifts and scanning equipment, and ensuring materials are properly received, tracked, and delivered throughout the facility. Responsibilities Perform data entry and inventory transactions using SAP and inventory management systems. Verify incoming shipments and ensure materials match paperwork and inventory records. Scan, label, unpack, count, and organize incoming materials and components. Load and unload trucks and transport materials throughout the facility. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct inventory scans, rack audits, and assist with receipt discrepancies and tracking issues. Maintain accurate receiving and supplier documentation. Support housekeeping, safety, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist material handlers and water spiders as needed. Follow all company policies, ISO/TS standards, and health and safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Ability to operate forklifts, scanners, and material handling equipment. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 30-35 lbs. regularly. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and inventory processes. Steel-toed/composite safety shoes required on the manufacturing floor. 2+ years of recent warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience required 1+ year of SAP/Excel experience required. Stable work history required with demonstrated job tenure; no job hoppers.
