Truck Driver:
As a Material Handler / Truck Driver, you will play an important role in supporting daily manufacturing operations by safely transporting materials, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory flow throughout our facilities. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Transport materials between plant locations and perform pickups and deliveries throughout the greater Kansas City area , including occasional customer deliveries. Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and other seasonal elements . Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Perform receiving duties, including unloading trucks, checking in incoming products, tagging materials, and storing items in designated locations. Load and unload materials and finished products for processing and shipment. Maintain accurate documentation and product accountability throughout the handling process. Conduct daily equipment and vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance or repair needs promptly. Follow all company safety procedures and properly utilize required PPE at all times. Maintain clean, organized work areas and actively support 6S and continuous improvement efforts. Perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 44 lbs independently and 88 lbs with team assistance. Typical schedule is 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays as needed.
