PIT MECHANIC FOR MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT - 1ST

Shift This position works primarily with the material handling / PIT equipment, previous experience with general maintenance or equivalent experience is preferred. This position will also have an opportunity to be trained and work with process equipment Job Details..... The work day will consist of preventative maintenance, corrective work, and troubleshooting/repair of PIT equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet trucks. Good organizational and time management skills. A dependable, self-motivated individual who can accomplish tasks promptly with a positive attitude, willing to learn & grow with the company. Must be able to work independently or with a Team to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the PIT fleet. You must be able to work from OEM Manuals and/or verbal instructions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, safety is a priority. You must have effective verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills. Previous experience in Food Manufacturing is a plus. You must be able to stand and walk throughout the day with the ability to lift to 50 lbs as needed.
