Materials Operator - 1st Shift $16.50 | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Weekly Pay | Overtime Available | Early Start Time Required Provenance Recruitment and Staffing is currently seeking a Materials Operator to support the materials and inventory operations of a manufacturing company located in Liberty, SC. This is a hands-on role responsible for inventory movement, material handling, documentation, and production support within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for documenting and tracking the movement of materials using both computerized inventory systems and physical inventory processes. The Materials Operator will verify incoming materials, pull inventory for production and outside processing, and maintain organized stock and production areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Pull parts and materials for production requisitions Move materials and inventory to proper stock locations Pull and organize work orders for production Verify quantities and condition of incoming materials Process outside processing orders and related documentation File work orders and maintain inventory records Recycle and manage packaging materials Handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety procedures Properly handle ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) sensitive components Maintain a clean and organized materials area Support production and warehouse operations as needed

Requirements:

Previous warehouse, inventory, or materials handling experience preferred Ability to use computer-based inventory tracking systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to regularly lift 40-50 lbs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
