We partner with schools, districts, state agencies, and other organizations providing education and education related support to implement innovative, research-based solutions that promote student success. SPN fosters inclusive, high-performing learning environments where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Position Overview SPN is seeking a Texas state-certified, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) High School Math Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and academic support in a predominantly non-English-speaking classroom. This role requires a student-centered educator who can differentiate instruction, monitor progress, and foster a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct math instruction and/or collaborate with a co-teacher to support student learning
  • Align instruction with Texas state standards
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and language abilities
  • Monitor student progress, attendance, and engagement; maintain accurate grade records
  • Communicate expectations clearly and provide timely feedback to students
  • Support English language development alongside math instruction
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes
  • Utilize technology and student information systems (SIS) to manage learning and reporting Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid Texas Teaching Certification (Grades 6-12 Math preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • ESL Certified or in process of obtaining certification
  • Ability to pass federal background check requirements Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in education or related field
  • Experience working with English language learners
  • Familiarity with technology-based instruction and learning platforms
  • Experience supporting students in both in-person and digital learning environments Skills & Abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners
  • Experience with student information systems (SIS)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical classroom activities as needed Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary $79,000
