Leidos is hiring a customer-oriented Major Command Coordination Center (MCCC) Cyber Compliance Officer to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) IT Services (ITS) program at Joint Base Andrews (JBA), MD, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC, and the Pentagon. The successful candidate will assist the Government staff by providing situational awareness of Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) unique functional systems, availability, base communications squadron network events, compliance against orders, and the status of network taskings.Primary Tasks:
The MCCC Compliance Officer assists with overseeing and representing AFDW equities and priorities to the AFIN Mission Assurance Center (AMAC), DoD and AF Component. The MCCC Operations Director assists the MCCC Manager with ensuring proper coordination, tracking and reports on all higher headquarter messages, orders, and directives. Will maintain communications and coordination between internal and external services providers to maintain situational awareness over the AFDW portion of the AFIN Assists with managing a team that oversees and represents AFDW equities and priorities to the AFIN Mission Assurance Center (AMAC), DoD and AF Component. Evaluates orders / directives to assess applicability to the mission, to include scope of impacted missions and internal tasked organizations. Engages various technical experts and mission partners to make a coherent picture of overall risk, level of effort, completion criteria, timeline, and mission impact of downward directed actions. Coordinates, tracks and reports on all cyber messages, orders and directives issued through Geographic and Functional Combatant Commands, (JFHQ-DoDIN, AFCYBEDR, or AFDW) to senior stakeholders. Articulates task requirements, risks, and execution criteria in a clear and concise manner to senior stakeholders. Ensures senior leader guidance and direction translates to the applicable internal actions with minimal follow-up. Ensures all required actions to report compliance are complete and meet stakeholder / Enterprise quality criteria. Coordinates schedules to facilitate completion of tasks and deliverables, briefings/presentations, and project reviews. Ensures adherence to project quality standards and reviews deliverables. Advises the AFDW/CC, AFDW/A3/5/6, and 844 CG/CC on completion of cyber orders or inability to complete assigned tasks pertaining to AFNET, PMO, and AFDW-unique systems as required/directed by the AFDW/CC or delegated authority. Advises AFDW Leadership, MAJCOM/CCs, AFCYBER (and subordinate units), DISA J6, on operational impacts of cyber orders to component missions. Coordinates and reviews Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), with Geographic and Functional Combatant Commands, JFHQ-DoDIN, AFCYBER (and subordinate units), or DISA J6 to resolve operational impact issues when relief of orders is granted. Ensure POA&Ms are completed for any requests for relief and/or mitigations. Ensures waivers / delayed actions (POA&Ms) have merit, proper quality and rigor. Ensures POA&Ms are actionable, and the plan is acceptable in relation to the risk associated with it. Engages with owning organizations to manage agreed timelines. Recommends alternate solutions but not limited to disconnection or quarantines actions. Creates and fosters key stakeholder relationships with internal and external partners to drive timely and appropriate mission response. Acts as AFNCR representative with external support agencies to deconflict unclear guidance and actions with Geographic and Functional Combatant Commands, JFHQ-DoDIN, AFCYBER, and DISA J6. Must be available for 40-hour work week with the potential for off hours on-call response. Basic Qualifications Requires BS and 4- 8 years of prior relevant experience. Four additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree. Must be DoD 8140-compliant to include Security+ or equivalent certification Military or Government Experience
