The Dixon Group is looking for a LMS Administrator to join our team! This position involves collaborating closely with educators, trainers, IT staff, and content developers to facilitate effective e-learning experiences. The LMS Administrator will be responsible for managing user accounts, troubleshooting technical issues, configuring system settings, and generating insightful reports to support data-driven decision-making. The role requires a strong understanding of LMS platforms, learning technologies, and data analytics, combined with excellent organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying system enhancements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and providing training and support to users. What You'll Do:
- Manage and maintain the LMS platform to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the LMS.
- Upload, organize, and maintain course materials, resources, and assessments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified through monitoring.
- Work closely with instructional designers and trainers to implement new courses and features.
- Generate and analyze reports on user engagement, course completion, and system usage to support decision-making.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to staff and learners on how to effectively use the LMS.
- Stay updated with the latest LMS technologies and recommend enhancements or upgrades.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience managing and administering an LMS platform, such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
- Strong understanding of e-learning principles and instructional design fundamentals.
- Proficiency with LMS configuration, user management, and content administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Experience generating reports and using data analytics tools related to LMS usage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and train diverse users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, or other e-learning standards is a plus.
