MDS Coordinator - RN

Job Summary Seminole Manor Care Community is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an MDS Coordinator. This position plays a vital role in ensuring quality resident care, accurate assessments, regulatory compliance, and appropriate reimbursement within our skilled nursing facility. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and complete MDS assessments in accordance with federal and state regulations Ensure timely and accurate submission of MDS documentation Develop and maintain individualized resident care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members regarding resident care and assessments Monitor Medicare/Medicaid documentation and reimbursement processes Maintain compliance with CMS guidelines and facility policies Participate in care plan meetings and resident reviews Assist with clinical documentation improvement and quality measures

Qualifications:

Current Georgia RN license required Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred MDS experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Strong organizational and communication skills Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and documentation standards preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Pay:

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour
