Nursing Home Essential Responsibilities:

Complete an accurate complete MDS assessment in timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned Establish a comprehensive care plan and update the care plan accordingly Maintain an open line of communication with residents and families during care planning process Compile data and present data for review to Intra-disciplinary team. Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Responsible for attending weekly care plan meetings. Monitor charting and ADL's. Plans, organizes and directs the activities of assigned department(s). Responsible for the overall direction of the department and ensures that goals and objectives are met. Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Experience:

Five (5) years' experience in a healthcare setting, including 2-3 years of experience in MDS preferred. License(s), Certification(s), Registration(s)

Required :

Current RN License issued by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of nursing principles and techniques related to assigned department(s). Knowledge of MDS functions. Excellent computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Skills in planning, coordinating, and measuring departmental activities.
