Butcher Block Meats is on the hunt for an amazing meat clerk to join our team and bring some serious fun to our meat department. If you're someone who loves to chat with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere, then this is the job for you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cut, measure, & package meat.
• Place/fill orders
• Operate a cash register.
• Handling customer groceries in a timely and organized fashion while providing quality customer service.
• Manage department cleanliness by maintaining a neat and sanitary work environment by keeping all product cases, floors, and equipment clean.
• Rotate and stock products.
• Operate all equipment in the meat department such as the refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines.
• Collaborate with management to help maintain inventory levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Background in meat processing preferred but not required.
• Must be well organized and detail orientated.
• Must be good with math.
• Must love interacting with customers.
• Must have strong time management skills.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
