Duties Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat using precise knife techniques and meat-cutting equipment Package meat products efficiently while ensuring proper labeling and presentation Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols throughout all food handling processes Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen, supporting overall food production activities Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering recommendations when needed Ensure all tools, equipment, and workstations are clean, sanitized, and well-organized at all times Support inventory management by rotating stock, monitoring product freshness, and notifying supervisors of low supplies Qualifications Proven experience in food production, meat cutting, or culinary roles within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knife skills with the ability to cut meats precisely and efficiently Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience with packaging meats for retail or wholesale distribution Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join our team as a Meat Cutter and bring your passion for quality food preparation to life!
