McCaffrey's Markets - Meat Department Job Summary Meat Department Associate - Part-TimeWeigh, wrap and price meats and related products Portion and place products on designated trays with the highest standards of presentation Display product in cases as directed by manager Keep track of the need for wrapping materials, labels, etc. Maintain equipment. Communicate temperature failure of cases to manager. Maintain good housekeeping of work, display and storage areas. Provide prompt and courteous service to customers Follow all company policies Observe all state health regulations and all safe food handling proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

Minimal computer skills or minimal knowledge of computerized digital scales.

Physical Demands:

Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time Work in cool area for extended periods of time. Lift, push or pull cases/containers of product up to 50 pounds.•Must be available to work 30-39 hours per week.
