As a key member of the maintenance team, the Inspection Mechanic will ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of the companys fleet vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Perform Pennsylvania Class 1 or 7 state inspections on company fleet vehicles and equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety Carry out brake repairs, suspension work, tire service, and general mechanical repairs Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records Identify and report safety concerns and repair needs promptly Ensure all work complies with DOT, state, and company safety standards Keep the work area clean and organized Assist with emergency repairs and breakdowns as needed Work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Valid Pennsylvania Class 1 or 7 Inspection License required Prior mechanic or fleet maintenance experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid drivers license and reliable transportation CDL license is a plus, but not required Must provide own tools Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
