Job Title:
Fabrication Assembly Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Fabrication (Mechanical) Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling products according to specifications, preparing hoses for water-cooling systems, assembling pallets for shipping furnaces, and performing typical maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for detecting and reporting defective materials, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery and the facility. Responsibilities Assemble products according to specifications. Prepare hoses for water-cooling systems. Assemble pallets for shipping furnaces. Rework and make parts as needed. Perform typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following prescribed safety regulations. Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required. Deliver and pick-up parts/products from vendors. Assemble gas systems by reading blueprints and drawings, and following verbal instructions. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly. Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Team-oriented with strong troubleshooting and machine-building skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and quality. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a busy manufacturing setting, where employees are regularly exposed to vibration and occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or at heights. There is a risk of electrical shock, and the noise level is usually very loud. Personal protective equipment may be required at times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Allenstown, NH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
