Job Description

Established in 2011, Premier Coil Solutions is the leading manufacturer of high specification coil equipment in the U.S. Through innovation PCS has remained at the industry's forefront, producing an extensive patent portfolio of 55 granted and pending patents worldwide. We support our equipment, as well as that of other manufacturers, with a dedicated team of service specialists. With more than 50 years combined experience in coiled tubing manufacturing and aftermarket service, our world-wide team of seasoned professionals deliver proven technology, service and value every time. Summary Mechanical Designers report to the Director of Engineering, and are assigned daily tasks from the various Engineering Discipline Managers (Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic). Mechanical designers are responsible for the day to day activities of bringing equipment designs to design review status andcarrying forth with changes of design, ECN's and ECR's. Designers base their Computer Assisted Design(CAD) on design standards set forth by the Director of Engineering and LeadDesigners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop the design of oilfield equipment using 3D solid modeling and advanced computer-assisted design (CAD)
- Analysis requirements include fundamental calculations and advanced modeling software, e.g., FEA (Ansys or Design Space) under direction and approval of Engineers.
- Perform test runs and implement new design concepts and improve existingproducts;
- Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design,operation and performance of equipment, components and complete systems;
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, includingselection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of productdesigns;
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals,and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirementsof designs or applications;
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensureconformance with engineering design and performance specifications;
- Develop factory acceptance tests, oversee and approve the execution ofthese tests

Certificate Program or Associates Degree Preferred Experience:
Autodesk Inventor a plus: Alternative 3D experience considered Experience in design and/or drafting using CAD Software. Experience with coil tubing or well service equipment a plusJob Type:
