Job Description

This role works closely with both the sales team and the manufacturing team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical information into understandable terms for customers and production teams.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, methods of manufacture and project timelines per customers' requirements. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop technical solutions. Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies and perform technical analysis to evaluate the compatibility of current company capabilities with customer requirements. Provide technical support to customers during pre-sale and post-sale stages, including troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and answering product-related questions. Conduct engineering field work, assembly and testing. Develop and conduct qualification test plans per customer requirements and report the results in a timely manner to support manufacturing delivery dates. Design appropriate test fixtures and tooling to conduct qualification test plans Support PO reviews relative to original estimate and conduct project kickoff meetings. Act as a liaison between customers and the manufacturing team, providing impact analysis on customer revisions and their effect on the manufacturing process and timeline.Education and Experience Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. At least 3 years of experience in a technical sales or applications engineering role within the relevant industry. Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering technical presentations and training. Proven ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. Proficiency in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to support customer engagements and attend industry events. Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering high-quality service and support.
