Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and maintain engines, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools and hydraulic equipment.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing.
• Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
• Safely operate cranes, forklifts, power tools, hoists and hand tools.
• Assess the condition of used parts
• Maintain parts and tools inventory
• Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical equipment.
• Routine Maintenance / Repairs on Haul Trucks and Trailers
• Routine Maintenance / Repairs on facilities and grounds upkeep Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment
• Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
