12+ months contract About the Role We are seeking a Mechanical Review Board (MRB) Design Engineer to support production programs by identifying and resolving issues, defects, and failures in key mechanical components. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions in time-sensitive situations. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Responsibilities Serve as a key member of the Material Review Board (MRB) process. Review non-conforming hardware for performance impacts, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence. Coordinate efforts across Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams. Support weekly meetings to provide status updates to leadership. Lead investigative efforts and report findings to interdisciplinary teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5, including tolerance analysis. Minimum of 2 years of experience with Creo design software. Minimum of 2 years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Minimum of 2 years of experience reading engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications. Strong ability to lead investigations and communicate findings to cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. Experience in failure analysis and mechanical defect resolution. Strong technical skills in GD&T and tolerance analysis. Ability to interpret and apply engineering standards and specifications.
